As of today, my summer release Insatiable has a new title: The Lake House.
Why the title change to The Lake House, you ask?
It’s a good question and I pride myself on being open with my readers, so allow me to explain. While I like the title Insatiable, I also felt it was a little bit too general, and a book called “Insatiable” could be a romance about literally anything. With The Lake House, at least I can communicate one facet of the story to my readers. And the majority of the book does take place at a lake house.
Second–just being honest here–I wanted to make the title look pretty with the cover, and no matter what I did (slash had my cover designer do) to the word ‘insatiable,’ it just did not look good in the same block font as Brewer Brothers book #2, The Hold Out. And as a series, you need your books to match up across the board or else they just look sloppy.
So I killed two birds with one stone. Now the title is a little more story based, and don’t those two covers look damn good together?
I don’t change titles lightly, or for no reason. But sometimes, you have to do it. And just wait until you see book 3, FDF. You’re going to love the way these three go together!

Hmmm… I wasn’t convinced until I saw the two books together and then I loved it! Insatiable was my introduction to your work, and I am absolutely love that book… Humor, love, angst, delicious HEA… checks all the boxes. Can’t wait to start The Hold Out and will wait with as much patience as I can muster the the 3rd book.
Cheers Mickey
