Too bad I hate you,” he gritted out. “For all the trouble you’ve put me through.”

“Do you really hate me?”

He chuckled, a deep, villainous sounding rumble, really.

“I do. I did. I do,” he seemed like he was struggling with the difference in present and past tense. “But I also care about you. A lot. For reasons I can’t even understand.”

He kissed me again, those same feral lips that went down on me yesterday with no mercy.

“You want this, don’t you,” he growled, biting my ear.

An expanding feeling warmed my chest. 

“Yes.”

“What do you want?”

“Everything.”

“With who?” He smirked. I hated that he knew, but he still wanted to hear me say it out loud.

“With you.”
